The lady at the counter just picked up the one colour (light bisque) and said this would be the right one. We couldn’t try it out as I had make-up on, but it seems to be a good colour on me.

I use Estee Lauder foundation and concealer so I’m sticking with them (when you are on a good thing…) and the corrector seems to blend in ok with these products (thank goodness!).

So I’ll keep my fingers crossed for just a little bit longer…

Makes me so happy to hear it. It’s interesting when the color is right, isn’t it? Has a great canceling effect on the shadow colors. The texture is pretty good too.

Did you have any trouble choosing a color? I found it tricky. Left to my own devices, I probably would have picked a different color from the one I have.

Are you using a BB concealer over it, or another?

Many thanks for your comments Christine. I’ve had corrective eye surgery recently and because of this my eyes have been very sore and tired…and now I’ve got those awful “shadows” under my eyes which I hate. Your comments couldn’t have come at a better time for me. Now I have purchased the Bobbi Brown Corrector and I absolutely love it! It really does lighten the area under my eyes and I makes me feel much better about myself. Thanks.

I admit that I worry that women will buy products on my recommendations and then regret them – and I hope that, like Susan, you drop a comment so I can understand how the products failed to meet your expectations.

The idea of looking in costume shops is brilliant. Ben Nye is probably one of the most recognized lines for the stage so those stores will recognize it.

It’s a remarkable concealer, isn’t it? Enormously color-versatile on different women and doesn’t create an opaque patch. It’s just an enhancement with a light touch – just what makeup should be at our age (or any age).

I just want to add a comment on the subject of concealers. I found Ben Nye Neutralizer Crayons at a wonderful costume shop in Indianapolis. I bought both the Lite and the Ultralite and find a use for both. They are exactly as you described them and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I also bought some lipliner pencils as the price for all was VERY inexpensive. Thank you so much for bringing to my attention a line that I would never otherwise have known about.
