Product Review : J/A/S/O/N Satin Shower Bodywash

September 13, 2008

Try this product. It is just fine.

Smells good. Feels good. No animals used in the process. Buy it at the grocery store.

One by one, I’m looking for good cruelty-free replacements for my products.  This was recommended to me and right away, I could see why. I love it. I’ve used Lavender, Rosewater, and am now I’m on Citrus. Citrus smells how orange-lemon Sweetarts would taste (leap of imagination required).

The price is very comparable at $10 for 900ml, since most bodywash bottles sell for $5 for 400ml, give or take.

The pump works well and dispenses a controllable amount. A little goes a long way. It is not one bit irritating for my child whose skin easily becomes dry and itchy.

All round agreeable. I cannot think of a single negative detail about this bodywash.

Others have said this at epinions.com  and this at smartplanet.com.

I was amazed that someone thought the Citrus smelled unpleasant. Luckily, there are 10 scents to choose from! You can find all of them here, at J/A/S/O/N/.

Although I am sensitive to the majority of perfumes I do like lavendar. I purchased the Jason lavendar body wash on line from VitaCost (not affiliated, etc) I do like the product but don’t really think the lavendar scent is realistic.

    Hilda,

Now that you mention it, I must agree with you. I haven’t disliked any of the scents but they’re not very precise. You’d almost think they’d make an unscented one, though I don’t know how well it would sell in the mass market. People like and expect a fragrance of some sort.

Actually, I feel as you do about the Citrus I’m using now. It’s a little sweet, not exactly chemical or synthetic-smelling, but it doesn’t smell like an essential oil either.

Hopefully you’re not finding yourself sensitive to the smell.

Do you normally use lavender-scented body wash? I have a friend who dislikes fragrance and has difficulty finding hair and body products that are fragrance-free. She uses those made by Paula’s Choice at the moment. I believe she’s pleased with them.

Got something to say? I hope so.
