PRODUCT REVIEW : ABOUT FACE INVISIBLE BLOT POWDER

Excellent product, strongly endorsed

This is the best blotting powder I have found. It does exactly what the product name says. It is completely invisible and removes shine from the face. It works immediately and lasts several hours depending on the degree of oiliness.

It is unexpected looking in the compact because it is as white as this page. Actually whiter. It does go on invisibly, even on women with darker complexions. Although it is white in the compact, it will not work as a highlighting powder because it is transparent when applied. The powder is triple-milled so it disappears on the skin. This formula will not cake, dry out the skin, or change the color of your foundation.

See what I mean about the color? It is white as snow but goes on completely invisibly.

It does not build up and begin looking thick by end of day if you apply it several times. Any other powder can’t be layered throughout the day for this reason.

I keep one at work, one at home, and one in my purse.

Options

I formerly used MAC Blot Powder. This is a good product but can look too dry and flat, so it’s best applied with a very light hand. You may find yourself reapplying it sooner than you want.

Blotting papers are another option and I’ve tried many. Though they’re supposed to leave your makeup perfectly in place, I don’t find that they do. Everything smudges and looks a little duller. Even those that remove oil and deposit a layer of powder disturb the skin a little. Blotting papers are useful at an event where you don’t want to take your purse to the bathroom each time. Keep a few papers folded in a back pocket, so you can remove shine discreetly.

Reviews for great items tend to be short. I have nothing bad to say about this product. It is one of those unexpected finds in an independent makeup lines that outperforms all other brands. It deserves to become a ‘cult’ product.

This is a fabulous product, no question.
So good, that I buy 2 at a time, as you know, and have never asked the cost.

Hi, Jenepher! Great to hear from you. The Christmas plans are always undecided till a week before. I’m glad to tell you that the PCA is getting busier, with a lot of requests for university students over the holidays. I will certainly email if we do come so we can meet and catch up.
