15% Off All SPF Products At Paula’s Choice
June 5, 2008
Does everyone know that sun products are on sale at Paula’s Choice for the month of June ? That includes any product with an SPF, not just sunscreens. We’re talking foundations, pressed powders, and one of the lip products.
Not only that, each order includes 15 free sample packets. 15 !! My kind of sale.
I ordered 3 tubes of the Extra Protection SPF 30+ shown above. At $11, and the Canadian dollar worth US$0.98, how can you go wrong?? The secret to great skin in 10 years is sunscreen and antioxidants now, and all Paula’s Choice sunscreens are 2-for-1 on that score. You could easily pay twice the price for a lot of products out there and not get the value these deliver.
Scroll down on the home page under Skin Care, to Sun Care. There are a lot of products to choose from among the sunscreens, including a spray (it’s excellent) and a mattifying lotion (have not tried it). If you have skin that is sensitive to sunscreen and find that it stings or becomes red or blotchy, you will be impressed with the Pure Mineral Sunscreen. This is the softest, least irritating sunscreen I have ever used. My kids have gotten it too near their eyes (read, in their eyes) on many occasions and had no irritation. The skin on your face may be a little white for 10 minutes but it fades. On your body, the skin looks beautifully healthy with this product on.
To notice on the Paula’s Choice home page is that orders over $75 are shipped free (includes Canada !).
Also, if you scroll down a little, on the right side you’ll see a free report called Anti-Aging Superstars. Sign up for 1 or all of the Beauty Bulletins to receive the report. Very well worth your time and a fantastic resource. If you were to spend the same amount of money, would you rather buy a superstar or a washout?
You can read the explanation of what anti-aging is considered to mean in modern skin care, written in Paula Begoun and Bryan Barron’s usual scientifically knowledgeable and accurate style. Following that are the lists of outstanding products.
The A list products are those that shine for formulations that do minimize the signs of aging and with the documented research to prove it. The B list includes those products with the ability to support the core ingredients. You’ll recognize green tea, pomegranate, and others and learn exactly what is known about their ability to enhance the health and appearance of skin.
Check to see if your favorite skin care products are on the list. If not … you’ll never know how good your skin could look till you use the best products. It’s the same as anything else. You’ll only know how well you can paint when you use beautiful pigments. You will only see the best your dog could look when you feed him great food. Once you’ve set that standard, if you want to test the improvement using something else, go ahead. You will already have set a target as a point of reference.

Hi! Paula mentioned you in her monthly (or maybe it’s weekly, I forget) beauty e-bulletin!
I love Paula’s products. And I’m excited to add your site to my blogs I visit daily.
the weightless finish spray on sunscreen is an absolute MUST-HAVE for summer. great for husbands and kids. It is absolutely greaseless ( I HATE wearing sunscreen and many lotions) and find that this is not noticeable after it dries. It also doesn’t have that “sunscreen” smell. Only complaint is that it’s a little pricey and doesn’t come in large enough sizes….Paula needs to create a refill size and provide a volume discount.
Hi, Pam,
I agree about the spray. I love it because it’s fast, for those times you’re going out the door and need to get sunblock on in a hurry. I used up my bottle in no time.
My only issue, and I admit I’m not certain of the solution, applies to all spray sunblock and that is that I can’t always tell if I’ve missed some spots. So then I rub it on with my hand, which is not a big deal, but at that point, I might as well use a lotion.
There is nothing I love more than a brilliant marketing idea. Larger sizes would be great. And volume discounts, Paula if you’re reading this, : ) , …
What I’d love to see Paula do, and sell in a barrel-size, is sunscreen for women of quite oily skin. I love Estee Lauder’s DayWear AntiOxidant SPF 30, but I’m sure Paula could create an equivalent that’s unscented and not $40 a bottle. I’m looking forward to trying the Mattifying Lotion SPF 15, but would like a higher SPF. Yes, you reapply sunscreen, but once my makeup is on, I don’t like to do that.
Thanks for the great comment, Pam.
